Easter 2010 found us rejoicing in the work that occurred over
2000 years ago, but affects us every day. In keeping with the joy of our salvation, we gave the kids a little taste of the
sweetness that can be found when one searches for a treasure wholeheartedly. Below are some pics from the Easter egg hunt
in our sanctuary.
The children's ministry at VineLife is called Branches. As
in, "I am the Vine and you are the Branches..." Our kids have chosen to sponsor a child through Healing Every Nation
who lives in a small village in Malawi. His name is Amose. Each month, the kids run a bake sale to raise funds to sponsor
Amose.

During the holiday season, volunteers decorate the
sanctuary. You'll see some of the volunteers below.
Church Fund-raising Yard / Bake Sale was a success.
We define success as: "We got rid of a bunch of stuff we didn't need, and we didn't have to pay to haul it off!"
Gaining over $700 in sales was pure bonus. Below are some pics of the volunteers.

|
| They helped all day with arranging items and running the register |

|
| Baked items did a brisk business with hungry, impulse-driven shoppers |

|
| Perennial yard-sale favorite, clothing, did well |

|
| And when the sale was done, volunteers loaded up the leftovers and delivered them to GoodWill |
Branches Performance

(VineLife's Children's Church) performed for us in May as an end-of-year summation of what they learned about salvation.

Marlon Obando's Ordination
Marlon Obando, currently a missionary to his homeland of Costa Rica, visited our service and gave an update of his
family's transition from the US to Costa Rica. The service culminated in his ordination by Pastor Jeff Callicott and the
elders of our church.

Easter 2009
Our gathering this Sunday was sweetened by the gracious
God who gave us not only the sacrifice once for all, but the daily indwelling of His Spirit. After the service, we gave the
kids a chance to enjoy somethinge else sweet. Easter Eggs filled with scriptures, toys and candy!

Work Day, March 2009
Several people lent their time and energy to helping us improve and maintain the facilities with which God has blessed
us. Besides the people pictured below, we had help from Ervin Reeves, Jeff Callicott and Tom Dake.

Mission to Mozambique
Our Father blessed us with the opportunity to return to Mozambique in May of 2008. This time, with the help
of many people in the village, Mike Herbert, Jeff Callicott, Case Mundy and Tom Dake completed a well-drilling project. Many
thanks to Healing Every Nation and Pastor Miguel Viegas' of Igreja De Jesus Christo, Missao Thoera. See our Outreach
page for more information about Healing Every Nation.

|
| The people of Thoera were relying on hand-dug wells (often contaminated) or the dangerous river |

|
| It takes water to drill for water - HEN loaned us this truck to transport water from the river |

|
| Once the community dug the pits, we mixed our drilling fluid in tanks then poured it into the pits |

|
| Each piece of drill pipe is added by hand and then drills down five feet at a time |

|
| After reaching a formation of sand and gravel, we stopped drilling and found plentiful water |

|
| Mike and Jeff lower the rising main (a two-inch pipe within the well casing) |

|
| More helpers from the village helped lay brick to make the platform of the well pump |

|
| The Afridev is one of the most common pumps, and it went together without much trouble |

|
| The final product - a well that produces more than 14 gallons per minute |

|
| Pastor Miguel Viegas leads a small congregation in Thoera and asked for Bibles - we obliged with 14 |
National Day of Prayer 2008
The National Day of Prayer service in Crosby, TX. VineLife pastor, Jeff Callicott, and members of our fellowship
joined with the Body of Christ in our area to pray and intercede for our communities and nation. This time of unity
and humility before God is very close to our heart because it was a priority for our Lord - Ephesians 4:12-14, John 17:22-24

Baby Dedication
We love our children and know that their best hope is a life filled with God's blessings. At a baby dedication
service, we pray for the newest additions to our families and thank the Lord for His precious gifts to us.

Fun and Games
Volleyball games are often played after the service. We are always looking for an opportunity to gather together
and have fun.
