Community Outreach
We, as the people of VineLife Christian Fellowship, look beyond our four
walls to our local and global community. In addition to the ministries and individuals you see here, VineLife honors
the Lord's work through His Body wherever it is located. To learn more about the ministries

Holiday Outreach
VineLife has been collecting goods for the homeless of the Houston area and will be distributing them free of charge between
Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have also donated food to the First Baptist Church's holiday food basket give-away.
Members of VineLife and Branches Children's
Church go to Humble Healthcare Nursing Home
Branches, and other Vinelife members, visit
a local nursing home in Humble several times a year. Some of these residents get very few visitors and the presence of smiling,
happy children can brighten their day like nothing else will. Contact the office for more details.

Huffman Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry
In partnership with several Huffman-area churches, VineLife contributes to the
food pantry located at First Baptist Church of Huffman. Local individuals can visit once a month and freely receive
for themselves and their family.
A nation-wide ministry implemented at the local level, Family
Promise arranges lodging for homeless families who are trying to find a place of their own. Through local churches,
famillies are provided transportation, nightime lodging at a community church facility, food, a day-center and job seeking
assistance. VineLife Christian Fellowship, in partnership with Family Promise, will open its doors to lodge up
to three families for a week, up to four times a year.
Founders Bob and Teresa Nix serve the Lord
through The Abiding Place Retreat and Conference Center, but they do much more than provide a physical place to hold meetings.
They want to see the Body of Christ "come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge
of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:13.
Additionally, they go "on the road" to hold special events like Come To The River in churches and other
locations nationally. VineLife supports The Abiding Place financially and by hosting events at our facility.
