We are grateful, once
again, to work with the Lake Houston United Methodist Church volunteers while we host Family Promise. The LHUMC volunteers
have already committed to provide an evening meal and hosts. Check this website first to see if there is a opportunity for
you to serve.
About Our Guests
Our guest families include a single dad with two teenage daughters. The 14 year old daughter is a vegetarian,
so please make sure there is something for her. We will also have a single mom with four children ages 3 to 9, and another
single mom with two teenage boys who stay with her each week as well as one son who is only with her occasionally. One of
these parents works and the other two are both looking for work and working on their education. One family has after school
activities that might keep them out later than usual on a week night and gets them up early in the mornings.

Current needs:
We will want to make sure the fridge is stocked with plenty of good lunch and breakfast food in addition to the meals
volunteers are providing.
Overnight hosts are the hardest find. Please consider sleeping
her one night - the duties are very light and you'll be out the door in the morning in plenty of time to swing by home
before work, if necessary.
